Try this amazing dairy free milk.

This is a simple Oat Milk recipe that you will love because it can be used for pretty much anything. I prefer it my coffee and smoothies. However, I wouldn’t drink this by itself because of the rich taste.

Recipe:

1 cup of organic oats

1 cup of water

2 dates or agave to sweet (optional)

1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

For this recipe, soak the oats for about 30 minutes in a mason jar. Then pour the oats into a strainer and rinse.

After the rinse pour the oats into a blender and add 1 cup of water. Mix this until you get the consistency you prefer. Then add in the dates and vanilla, this will vary depending on how sweet you want it. Enjoy!

Smoothies to replace meals!

I am so excited to share these smoothie drinks I have been making. My husband did buy me a juicer, however, I am still on the smoothie trend! (LOL)

These smoothies are delicious and I have replaced my meals with them. The first one is the carrot and orange smoothie & the next one is the blueberry smoothie. I am considering creating a youtube channel to document my health journey. However, until then try these and let me know which one you prefer.

Recipes: Orange smoothie

3-6 carrots cut up

1 orange

Orange juice

1 cut up apple or pear

Start with your liquids first so your blender can blend well. Then put in the carrots, oranges, and apples until a nice texture appears. If you want to add a sweetener like agave you can but I prefer it like this. This will actually taste good in a juicer as well.

Berry smoothie

1 pack of frozen berry mix

Blueberries, Raspberries & Strawberries,

1 kiwi cut up

Coconut milk (Or any nondairy nut milk will do)

Half of a banana

1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal

Pour the coconut milk in the blender then put it the berries. Let this blend for about a minute, then put in the kiwi, banana and flaxseed meal. A beautiful color will appear and a gorgeous texture. If you like your smoothie cold you can add in ice cubes, however, I prefer it as it is.

Today I have another great healthy snack to share. It has been one year since I gave birth to my son, and I am on a journey to getting back to my previous weight but remaining healthy. This is a great energy boost and replacement for meals. It will turn out creamy and delicious plus you will be full. Let me know how this recipe works for you.

Recipe:

Half of an Avocado

1 Banana

Spinach

Coconut milk or Almond milk

Agave or Dates for a sweeter taste

Place the banana and spinach in a blender until you get a nice blend, then pour in the milk of your choice. Next, put in the avocado and sweetener and blend until you get a creamy texture.

Curry Shrimp Recipe.

Hi beauties this is my famous curry shrimp with vegetables. My family requests this dish at least once a week, because not only is it healthy, but its GOOD! And very simple for me to prepare. To make this dish all you need is olive oil, vegetables of your choice and a side dish I use Quinoa. I make it without using dairy products because of my husbands diet. The recipe is below please, let me know if you make it and send photos.

Recipe:

1- 1½ lb. extra large shrimp peeled and deveined

2- tablespoons virgin olive oil

1 teaspoons fresh minced thyme

large garlic cloves minced

1 medium onion chopped

2 green onions chopped

1 large zucchini

1/2 -1 Tablespoon curry powder

½ red bell/ green bell pepper diced

1 scotch bonnet pepper optional

Cajun season or salt to taste

Instructions:

Heat oil over medium heat in a sauce pan. Add onions, garlic, thyme, curry powder and sauté for about 2-3 minutes. If using scotch bonnet pepper add at this time. Add green onions, Zucchini and bring it to a boil then simmer for about 7-10 minutes. Toss in shrimp, and bell peppers. And cook for another 3-5 minutes. Adjust for salt / pepper and thickness. Serve with quinoa, rice or as seen a small salad.
